For nearly 70 years, Shamrock has been the innovator and pioneer in the development of additives, including micronized PTFE and wax-based products. PTFE is at the heart of what we do and it is one of the most useful substances known to man. That's in part because it's the slipperiest material known to man. Because it's slippery, PTFE can help achieve anti-rub and slip characteristics in inks and coatings applications, but it must be used in micronized powder form.
